Some of the highest quality fitted kitchens Norfolk has to offer are made by hand in the workshops of Herringport bespoke kitchens and furniture.
We’re based some twenty-five miles from Norwich on the Riverside at Gorleston, Great Yarmouth where we started in business as a boat builder building traditional ‘clinker’ boats, the descendants of the Viking longships.
As fibreglass took over the small boat building industry, we turned our skills to furniture and kitchens, using the old techniques to create classic and timeless pieces that will last for generations.

Our handmade fitted kitchens are available in many styles, so there’s one that’s perfect for your property. We can manufacture whatever you require, whether it’s a contemporary kitchen, or an older styled Victorian or Shaker type kitchen.
We can make fitted and freestanding kitchen units, country style oak kitchens, painted oak kitchens and more. Our most popular kitchens are painted oak in whatever colour you require, with natural oak inside the cupboard and drawers. It’s a classy combination that shows the natural beauty of the timber each time you open a cupboard.
Ordering from Herringport
If you’d like to enjoy a fitted kitchen made by Herringport in your home, ordering is easy. In the first instance make a rough sketch of your kitchen.
We’ll need the basic outline of your kitchen and some dimensions which need to be pretty accurate – if you’re not quite sure just call us on 01493 442 115 and we’ll put you right.
Once we’ve had a look at your sketch we’ll have a chat with you and talk about the investment needed for us to make the kitchen of your dreams.
We’ll also use your sketch to produce a detailed plan for your new kitchen. It makes the process easier if you can send us some photographs too, in case there are areas that might make fitting your kitchen more difficult. These could be alcoves or sloped ceilings you may not have thought about.
Once everything is agreed and the detailed plans are finished, we’ll make your kitchen units in-house and deliver them to your property on the agreed date. It’s that simple.
